Maxol E5.

Hey everybody I have my baby mapped to run on Maxol E5 now if I went into a Maxol petrol station and they have signs saying that its E5 at all pumps what would happen to mycar if it wasnt E5 just normal unleaded cheers and new Terminator movie is buckin great :multijump:
 
your car may be more prone to knock since your putting in a lower octane fuel. If there are advertised as selling e5 at all pumps and its not then you could sue their ass. if you cant get e5 just drive it on low boost and take it handy :653:
 
im mapped for e5 and got stuck the other night with low fuel and no maxol for miles so just put 10 euros in and kept an eye on the knock link .i have the knock link set pretty sensitive and nothing showed up but took it very handy
 
Thanks folks I dont think I was conned but I just worry and would I get a warning light if there was a problem and what or where is a knock sensor many thanks John L.
 
you wont get any warning lights, maybe a check engine light if somethjing dies. if your really worried about it you should get a knocklink fitted
