Hey all... need some advice!

I gotta get rid of this ASAP. It's currently taking up space on the driveway and I need rid now!!!

I'd happily take 2000 euro for it straight away... and I reckon at that price it would either make a very cheap summer toy or track toy for someone.

The other option is to break it for parts... but space is at a premium and so is my time with the project build.

Anyone any interest in it... or anyone got any thoughts on whether it would be worth breaking this for parts? I reckon the engine/gearbox would make an interesting transplant into a Mk1 or Mk2 Escort... but not sure if this has been done before or even easy to do. :ponder2:

Any thoughts are welcome! :thumbsup:

exspensive to do but maybe car zone would be a good place to sell it
breaking i would imagine would be a slow process
maybe advertise you would swop for something else that maybe would be easier to sell
would be a shame to break and you might not get your money on it , could take a while

god i remember a while back these flew out the door
i know there is a downturn but i would have tought this type of thing still moved
small change for some top down fun for somebody :thumbsup:

TBH... the hardtop roof along is worth 500 Colm.

If i sold the engine/gearbox for 900.... i'd make up th other 600 with other major parts such as seats,softop,bonnet, bumper etc... and then just scrap the shell.

I've tried MX5 Ireland before and no luck! Might put an add up advertising breaking of the car though!

I didn' think anyone used Carzone anymore.... might be worth a shot though! :thumbsup:

Nah.. I hadn't advertised it since last summer Colm... the guy who bought it found the old advert on Octane which I'd completely forgotten about. It was pure pot luck... he rang me last week and said he was keen to view.... came down this morning... had a 20 min noisey about... and took it away.

He's gonna use it for auto testing apparently! :icon_headbang:
