Tekara - Breathe in you.
This is a perfect example of "proper" Trance
Late 90's, coming in at a whopping 11 mins + long,..
Simultaneously, one of the longest and one of the shortest tracks ever produced. I know, I know , that's a paradox, but if you take the time to stick on a good pair of earphones, close your eyes and listen to this you'll understand what I mean.you can thank me later...
A Matt Darey production. And what a production it is. This is what I use as the opener on my latest set. It's just ,well, beautiful music.
You don't necessarily have to be into trance to appreciate this. In fact , a lot of people have a misunderstanding of what trance music is as there's so many sub- genres.. but this is the quintessential sound of "pure" trance. This was the kind of sound I went clubbing to back in the day.
A lot of the newer trance is very very short, 3.20 - 4 mins long doesn't have the same substance, or the long build-up to a absolutely killer drop and breakdown. Don't get me wrong, there is some very good new stuff, but few and far between.
And almost impossible to get on vinyl.(They rarely release it on vinyl)
