my 06 vrs tdi wont start

what indication have you got that its an immobilisier fault???
generally wont stop a car in motion...normally will fault upon starting!!
what p code numbers came up on diagnostics??
 
If you only put diesel in the day before, have you thought of water in the diesel??? might be worth a check... maybe worth draining the diesel out???
 
just after leaving it into skoda in galway
they have another one in there exact same problem, the wiring loom goin to injectors packed in
because the loom is under the rocker cover, bad design and is emersed in oil at high temps the wires inside go brittel and break.
wont know for sure 100% till later but hoping it gets sorted.
looms for them arent dear its just the amount of work getting at them and changin around.
 
surely that kinda thing would have to be covered by Skoda???

Its their design fault!!! Your driving, servicing of the vehicle would have no bareing on weather this would happen or not!!!!
 
just an update:
got car back today, the problem was a downed injector number 3. and wiring harness for the injectors
found a couple of other small problems and all good now. going like a bat out of hell now
