Finally got my 6pot kit today. ordered them 5 weeks ago along with 2 other kits for 2 friends.
(remaining kits still to arrive?)
ordered them from godspeed in the uk for a very good price and as i ordered 3 kits all at once i got free postage.
Ian over there comes across very nice and very helpfull and will answer questions and e-mails quickly,if you ring him he answers the phone 99% of the time and if not he gets back promptly to messages left. BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...........................

as i said 5 weeks wait???? ive made several phone calls, sent several e-mails to him and had various responses to "where are my 3 AP kits"??

he first told me they were being posted in a couple of days, then it was the AP calipers were faulty and had to be sent back, waiting on new ones to arrive etc etc etc....!!

anyway there here now (well mine are!) so im happy.they look savage, its a shame i have to fit them to the car,id rather frame them? so im all set on the brake side of things for the isdc track day,now to sort some new coilovers next. :icon_biggrin:

They'll look savage

I deal with Ian quite a bit and find him very good

yeah hes sound.....but his postage is terrible. im waiting 5weeks and only got 1 kit out of 3?
ive yet to buy anything from anybody that took this long?
does he take this long with your orders? ive seen and heard alot of bad reports about people waiting for his products to arrive on other forums! they say his products are great but be very prepaired to wait a long time!

Read this over on octane a few weeks ago & was waiting to hear you got them, savage upgrade.

I ordered grooved discs for nic spec c from him too & again was waiting about 4-5 weeks, he gave us the usual story of the courier went the wrong way & had to be sent back to the shop before finally making their way to Ireland but for the price he's still worth the wait, unless you're down to metal on your brakes

Savage upgrade mate

I only had to wait about 10 days for a set of 2-piece disks. He did say they would be posted same day and would arrive in 2 days though. I thought I was getting impatient but I guess I was lucky enough hearing you had to wait 5 weeks :shock2:

well lads/ladies! ive been flat out fitting/testing my new AP's!!!
feel real bad as leoquig has not got his for friday? only waiting 7 weeks after paying over 4500euro for 3 sets of brakes!!!!

put them on myself as it is claimed im a qualified mechanic!! (ciaran rsa be quiet, thank you!)

ran them with 18's for 250kms and minded them like they were my own children!
happy days no problems, just rock hard pedal with no real feeling when braking.

as the trackday has come closer (wednesday) i decided to fit my 17inch track rims, which i was assured would fit no problem to my new kit (by godspeed).

well low and be-hold.........guess what? they rubbed like fcuk!!

bbs original gold rims with 114.3 pcd.
so today i had to.................not happy about this! but i had to take my di-grinder to the corners of my brand new AP calipers to stop the rubbing sound? yes i sh1t you not!!
really not happy about this companys service and what they tell you.

myself and leoquig will spill the beans to all who are interested later today.dont want to throw it out on a public forum for the world to see.i really think this guy deserves it but no matter what i wouldnt do it. roll on later and hope my brakes work at tarzan!!!!

I would have taken the grinder to the back of the alloy than go near the APs!

ya have to agree with graham not impressed by the service, still have not got mine he knew about the trackday only waiting seven weeks :icon_evil: :icon_evil: :icon_evil: :icon_evil: :angry1:
