Sorry to hear that - looked a savage machine when I saw it in the flesh - some mover too!
Try this lad - Aidan 086 3977772 - he's up the airport road, very reasonable and does a good job - he's a rally man so well used to fixing up imprezas and the like. Definitly worth giving him a shout.
Yeah.. Im having bad luck since last year really. Hoped the new year would be better but no way.
I'm not blaming my mate for what happened, as when we were driving back to tow the scooby back to Cork, on the same bend his LandRover was unstable too at only 20mph :|. It's like an oil spilled all over there and the bend is not marked or anything
I'll try to call the places and see how much it would cost. What I really need is to bring the front to the right shape.. I can put all the parts together on my own no prob.
Codders when it's nice and bright tomorrow , why not take as many detailed
photo's as you can post them up and maybe some of lads here might be able to give you a few pointers.
Re: My bad luck and smashed scooby [LOTS of pictures added]
So I had a chance to take some pictures yesterday.
Looks really bad IMO, I couldn't remove the radiator, as it's been squeezed altogether with the right intercooler's pipe into the engine.. I hope the engine is fine though, the timing belt seemed to be intact.
id say thats repairable, the black bar is only a bumper bar, pick one of them up handy.
the slam panel could be straightend and if not, could you not cut one from another car.
if you get the rightman id say itd be an easy enough fix from what i can see in them pics.
it doesnt look that bad peter, i was expecting alot worse......
as sean said it looks like an easy enough fix but im no panel beater either....
all the best with it buddy
