With respect, Your GF sounds hot! Love petrolhead girls,
I have huge respect for the Tegs, probibly the best FWD in the world,

Is the ring carpark always like that??
Jaysus, I'd not get out on track for ages after drooling over all that beautiful machinery,
Fair play to you man,
I would so be up for an official ISDC ring trip next year,

apparently that was as quiet as it gets,it was midweek and the track was only open from 5.30 to 6.45pm for public use as private race companies had it booked up during the day.its the full day public openings you want to be going on.
thanks for the compliments on the gf you made her night .this is karen

Loverly DC and the rest..
:)

Was so interested in the cars and track and journey but then that picture just made all the rest seem insignificant haha. Fair play mate, looks like it was a cool trip

That's a good question!
I'd be very interested to know how much,
Dan

Anytime I go the whole trip is usually about 1800 to 2000
Thats boat accomadation fuel food and about 20 to 30 laps so cheap holiday imo

thanks lads .here is a rough guide for two people with a car.

return ferry rosslare-cherbourg 400 euro return.two adults and car(20 hour crossing each time, with overnight bunks)
hotel 80 euro a night.
european breakdown insurance 200e (doesnt cover ring itself)
petrol 350+
motor way tolls through france 70e ish 1 way
laps 22euro each
food and drink pretty much same as ireland

take note ferrys and hotels vary hugely on price depending on time of year.cant see them been any cheaper than what i paid
have a good sat nav with european maps
and your car running 100%
.tyres,timing belt,fluid leaks etc.
if your oil leaks on track for example and leads to another car crashing out,you are finacially responsible repair and recovery for his car, repairing the track, recovery from track, medical bills etc..and you definatly dont want the track to get closed down if you crash out, its a couple of grand for an hour..

lap tickets for the ring are not expensive when you consider that its 20kms long and also they are priced in a decending order so the more you buy the cheaper it gets .i.e 1 22, 4 laps 75=18.75 per lap ,8 laps 145=18.13 per lap ,15 laps 250 =16.67 per lap ,25 laps 390=15.60 per lap so no its not expensive and you have to consider the price mondello charges for a small track 250 for the day even a good track car would be doin 40 -50 laps thats 5 a lap for a track 1/5th the size of the ring just my opinion on it
