My new Impreza (Pics Added)

Ralph

Petrolheads
Well having been taking the bus and being a passenger for the last I dunno how long I found a nice cheap wagon to fill the hole where my Legacy used to be. I managed to get a new clutch out of them while I was at it. Its a 1.6 wagon in fairly good nick, clean inside but looks very basic right now but I hope to improve on that over the next while.
I'll probably have to do the front bearings on it shortly, a general service and a brake fluid change.
The car:

The reason I needed new wheels:

I dunno how it happened, all I know is it aint at all safe :shock2:

The wheels I have to go on (Thanks to Derek and Dave):

And the spoiler: (Thanks to Gretts):

Hope to get a roof spoiler sorted along with a turbo bonnet and bumpers when I have the money. Then maybe a new interior :ponder2:

Basically i want a WRX replica when its finished

Re: My new Impreza

Thanks lads, its gonna be done but it'll have to be as cheap as possible so send all your free stuff this way

I'm gonna go at the spoiler tomorrow and get new tyres sorted over the weekend.

Without a doubt Andy...the Impreza is only good as a stop gap  Although it has a sunroof so it could be used as a skip when I'm done with it

Joking aside, I'm just happy to be back driving again and in a nice, reliable Impreza (unlike the Golf I had for a month :wall:)

Re: My new Impreza

Congrats Rob... good to see you back in a Scoob... and a real one at that even if it is a non turbo!

Re: My new Impreza

Fine looking wagon you've got, man after my own heart.
I have the same silver wagon, turning it into a wrx replica(slowly but
surely) too. Its great fun doing it.

Re: My new Impreza

Good man Rob....
Same colour as my own motor so if/when this STi Spoiler arrives the WRX 1 is yours...... with no need to spray it....

Best of luck with it and hope it keeps ya happy till the money allows ya to get back into a turbo model :049:

Re: My new Impreza

Thanks lads, its good to be back! :icon_biggrin:
I spent today fitting this, it worked out well and I know this sounds bad but I had no problem with drilling holes in the car  3 holes and 30 blobs of Tec 7 sealant stuff :shhh:

I have the two rear wheels on so I'll be goin to get the tyres on tomorrow ( the two others were flat and wrecked). So I have a dragster at the moment  But even with only the rear ones I can see the 16's really make a difference :multijump:

@Neil...thanks dude, appreciate that  :subaru:
