Hi All,

Many moons ago I used to have Year 00 - 2.0RX and a 00 - Impreza Tubro.

I owned the turbo for the 2 years before moving on. Pertol back then i thought was pricey, i can't imagine keeping her on the road now with annual miles I do.

Today I came across a Youtube link of the 200 cars on a run. Still a scooby fan at heart i had to take a look at the video.

About 2.38 into the clip there is a blue classic impreza with vented side skirts. hmmm, i said I remember putting them on mine.

What do know , it was my old baby that i sold back in 2004....00-CE-5459

I haven't seen her in a long while and i always regretted not taking more photos of her when I had it.

Back then I had no ditigal camera so i only had a few of the old fashion camera shots.

I always wanted a high resolution shot of her in her glory...

Just wondering if the driver of her is now on the site..

Here is a few pics of what I put on her when I was driving it as it came to me as a virgin turbo model..







Also has a silver 2.0 RX before i got the turbo, I bought it new but kicked myself at the time that I didn't get the Turbo.

I got them both in Eamon Ryan in Tipp, excellent dealer, hope he is still going strong, a pure gentleman he was...









These days I've moved to the Darkside of the Skoda vRS 2.0TFSI, I love it but it could do with an AWD setup to complete it.

For the rally days out I have my MK2 Escort..


So now hope my two old machines are still going strong.

Found a recent picture of her here on the site.

I see the twin lights are gone and the lip front spoiler. Hopefully it wasn't tipped in the front.

I used to love those twin lamps. i still have the orginals here and my old vents after i put in the 22B vents..

 
They do a 4x4 version alright called the Scout but not in the vRS spec. Most of the 4x4 also are diesels.

Nice VRS. Have you remapped her yet? I remapped my 2.0 TFSI with Upsolute in Rathcoole. Best 400 euros I spent on her and I have spent a lot on extras!

Yes, the remap is great. Got it done by Joe Power. He's big into his VAG motors but he drives 2 Subarus also, A B4 Est and a Impreza Type R...

Joe's a top man. He had a Buddy Club system on the Type R. Gorgeous rumble but he's gettin' old so he took it off. Rumors of a fully ported and forged 2.5 lump going in to the type R are about.
