My old scoob in cannonball 2014

You would do the ring for that money everything included, that is just entry you have to fuel the car and pay for drink etc, I would rather go to the ring

Try ed to watch that cannonball run documentary/movie on net flicks and had to switch it off the amount of rich cabages on that is unreal

Couldn't do it personally even if it was free

Nurburgring cruise there few laps that will do me too

Ciaran WRX

Thats 1800 euro to some very special causes and an excellent experience in return.
Iv drove to the Nurburgring but id love to do the Cannonball, fair play op :clap3:

I'd love to see how much actually goes to the charity,
I think fair play also to the lads that do it but just wouldn't be fair me

I did a similar event a few years ago organised by the Hope Foundation from Cork. It was called the GT900 and cost €1500, which included all meals and 4 nights is top hotels around the country. Did it with the MINI JCW and was some amount of craic! There were a few lads well off in it with Ferraris, lambo, R8, a Quatroporto etc... good few 911s old and new, but a few M3s, a Z4 an E30 M3, a Delorean, a RX8 and a grey mk I escort etc too... loads of real petrol heads and a brilliant experience. Took 3rd with the MINI and "most surprising" award (lads in M3s and 911s were laughing at the MINI, till they realised couldn't keep up). 599 won and a GT3 took 2nd...

It is a lot of money to shell out, but once you look at meals and hotels not that bad either... and if "giving" to a good cause like the idea of it involving cars and petrol lol.

I've done the cannonball a few years back in an m5 it is a really good weekend but at the same time is a lot of money each car had to pay 500 per person and then 700 just for the charity and there is an auction on one of the nites where everything sold all the money will go to the charity aswell the only thing that gets me is they can be very picky about some of the cars they let in

he was driving like a tit in a built up area in fairness but not one person went to see if he was ok. out with the phones straight away

Did you stay in the clarion in Sligo that time,

Did you stay in the clarion in Sligo that time

Don't remember the name of the hotel in Sligo, but is a huge affair with big very dark grey stone work. Think it might have been a convent or something... bit of a drive with grass going up to it too.

Yep, that was the event as shown in the poster there.
Was good craic, but as lads pointed out... did cost a pretty penny in the end... Still... good memories though.

Too busy at the moment with exams, but will find a few pics over the holidays and throw them up here.
