So iv been looking around now the last few months for a good hawkeye sti. Have found this one in Wexford and have seen it a couple times, and have gone for a test drive... and iv fallen in love with it. :subaru:

Iv never dealt with this dealer before but from what iv heard and read he seems to be good and knows his subaru's. the car has been in the garage for nearly 3 years and iv done my homework on it and it seems to check out. He is asking a lot for the car but I don't mind paying the extra bit to get a good car.

does anyone know the previous owners of this car or the car itself? He has two identical ones in the garage and not sure which one is the better one. Also does anyone have any experience dealing with Phil (the dealer).

very nice looking car . being honest never heard a bad word said about phil so cant be to bad. if ya do buy it ask him for a spin he's handy behind the wheel from what i heard :thumbsup:
 
Val scooby sti on here knows Phil and knows that car
He doesn't deal with any one only Phil for sales and service
 
Phil showed me that car when I was buying my car off him and its a mint mint car better than new, if my lotto no.s come in id be straight over for it. Best of luck with it
 
Here comes the question on everyones Minds ,

how much is he looking for it ?

Also , has it had its timing belt done , 5 years is when there due if they havent reached the 50k mile mark , had my own done around 45k mark , not an especially cheap job to do so factor for that if it isnt done , also its been sitting for along time but has it be serviced as needed and are the tyres ok after sitting up for over 2 1/2 years now , just because its low mileage dont assume it doesnt need the servicing done to keep her right
 
Ive driven this car and only thing that stopped me buying it was its 2.5 and at the time i didnt fancy paying the tax.... Its better than mint its been minded like a baby and will have got anything it needed..I was only down there with phil yesterday and he had it out think he was polishing it or something..As ive said here before i wouldnt go anywhere else when it comes to scoobys for service's , sales etc..highly recommend him
 
as i said i haven't heard a bad word about him yet so id say ill just go for it and hope for the best. will hopefully be getting it in the next few weeks. still negotiating with him though.

I have a price in my head that I think the car is worth but would anyone have any idea what its worth? Obviously the price will be a little high with it being from a garage so serviced and warranty with low miles...

Cant wait to get her home though... :multijump:

I've had all my scoobies over the last decade from Phil and he's always looked after me.

If you take that one then that only leaves the other one for me :subaru:

Are all STI badges in the new age models on the right of the boot? Did they then change it to the left on the hawk?

You obviously didnt buy this then as its readvertised on done deal. You know what they say...Cash is King :carexhaust:
 
never said i was buying it that day. takes time to get money and stuff organised. it'll be a few weeks before I get it... as i said in my previous post... just wanted a bit of advice on the car before I set my mind on it. no point asking for advice on it if I had my mind made up about it!! :cuckoo: He's been re advertising the car for months now.

So any idea's of what its actually worth??
 
id say its 14k -16k at most you can buy a good one in the uk for 10-12k euro and vrt is 3k euro,whats he lookin for it
 
Probably worth somewhere around the €11-12k mark for the mileage/condition.

Generally they are going from €9-11 asking price on donedeal there.
 
He has a 06 blob wrx advertised for €11k so im guessing hes looking for more for the hawk...probably worth in or around €12k
 
jesus id be happy if mine would sell for that lol . rb on donedeal for either 16 or 18 think its kens off here . to be realistic 10 to 12 is where should be
