My soon to be car... anyone know it??

IMO it has to be worth at least 14k in that condition, you have to remember its from a garage with warranty

I bought mine from garage with warrenty with 30k miles for around about 17 grand nearly 3 years ago johnny . my car aint perfect but its in good condition and has wanted for nothing so I wouldnt think 14k is realistic . is the low mileage worth a 2 to 3 k premium over say my own car with 55 k miles on it . I dont want it to look like im saying the cars are worth shag all just been realistic in the current climate

I understand what your saying tommy, 3 years ago things were at a all time low and collecters were not buying, I'm going on condition for a collecter, yours mine and many others won't ever make that money ever, if this is kept as is its worth 14 as it will always be worth that or more, as its out of the factory, if this lad is buying to drive it, he'd be mad, but normal mileage hawks will go for between 10-12 as you said, have you seen another hawk with that low a mileage??

never said i was buying it that day. takes time to get money and stuff organised. it'll be a few weeks before I get it... as i said in my previous post... just wanted a bit of advice on the car before I set my mind on it. no point asking for advice on it if I had my mind made up about it!! :cuckoo: He's been re advertising the car for months now.

So any idea's of what its actually worth??

Sorry, I must have misunderstood, but you started the topic with the heading "my soon to be car" so I took it from what you were saying in your post that you were buying it and it and was just a case of picking it up. :dontknow:

I was going to say myself with it being from a garage with warranty and with the low miles and condition of the car, around 14 to 15k. There was a spec c in donegal going for 18,500 a few months ago and a rb320 going for 18,000 so i think it is worth at least 14k.
Also I think because its such an original car with no modifications on it its worth more. Completely standard factory, exactly what im looking for...

I am buying it to drive it but I do very little miles and eventually I will park it up and use as a Sunday car. thats the plan anyway.

the one I was looking at just a month before I bought mine and now owned by pat the farmer had around 20k miles on it . and was on for the same money as mine iirc . if I wanted 2 I could return mine to totally standard very easily as I have all the original parts . wheels suspension exhaust etc . I dont think it would sway anyone towards buying a car weather its all standard or lightly modified . to be fair the car looks great in the advert but I dont see the premium been that much on such a modern car . if it was an original v1 sti 22b or an rs ra leggy then the low mileage counts . id imagine the dealer is looking 18 to 20 grand for the hawk otherwise he is loosing his arse on what he paid for it nearly 3 years ago

Well obviously the lower the miles the better. If I had a choice over 14k miles or 60k miles id pay the extra for the low miles. Also I was looking for a factory standard hawk. wasn't even looking at the modded ones. but thats just me I guess, love the look of it standard.
Think around 14 or 15k for the car is spot on as if you pay an extra 4 or 5k you can buy a spec c or rb320.

And from what im hearing the car is spot on and coming from a garage that has dealt with subaru's for years, has been minded like a baby.
