Sticking this up to see what interest there would be.

She's a MY01 Wrx in a beautiful dark blue colour.

All work was done at One Proformance by Phil who has done other engine builds for members on here. Myself and Phil bought this car together with the engine out and the heads and cams missing in October.

I have receipts for parts costing €1600 approx.

When I saw the car I didn't have all the cash to buy it so I asked Phil to buy it with me and help rebuild it and that I would buy his half of the car when I got sorted. So we rebuilt it and replaced everything we thought would need replacing as we hadn't heard the engine running. In the mean time I started Valeting cars again and decided I needed more room in the back then the Impreza could offer so bought a Forester when I saw one very cheap that I knew forsale. I then decided that the Impreza although rebuilt wasn't for me and in order to get my cash back and repay Phil I now have it for sale. All work is listed in detail in the add. I will break even on this car and someone very lucky will get a perfect Impreza.

She has got:
New pistons,
New ACL racing main and big end bearings.
New head Gaskets + the heads where skimmed ect.
New Water pump and termostat.
New oil pump,
New timing belt & tensioners.
Fresh oils and fluids,
Almost new clutch,
New cam & crank seals.
New lamda sensor,
Flywheel skimmed & new spigot bearing.

The only other mods are a Magnex centre section and oval back box and a set of 8x18" speedline corse turrini alloys.

Would love to keep her but cann't run her and the Forrester at same time.

Yeah. He has it price more then he paid for it so a good start to getting his money back. Well worth it.
He sprayed the front as soon as he got it from me as it needed it but hasn't fitted new decals in case anyone is wondering what the story is with them been off the car.

She's getting NCT'd tomorrow and tax for three months. I'll be running in the engine over the next week or so. Looking forward to driving an Impreza again for a while

New Track rod ends fitted yesterday and went through NCT only needing rear Arb links and a tyre.

Will have a retest as soon as it can and three months road tax.

Loads of interest in this car and the €3750 price is only for isdc and Scoobymaniacs members.

Cant believe this hasnt gone yet lovely car and very well priced if it was after the wedding when i'll be in the market again i'd def be interested in it

Have had a lot saying similar but no interest now. Hopefully price drop will sell it otherwise its not getting sold it can sit there.

Horn doesn't work with my Sparco wheel Eric so I put on the Anti-Lag :subaru:

Now parked up waiting on the new owner. 760 miles up on the new engine and going fantastic. Really wish I could keep it.

Two lads say their going to view it this week but won't count my chickens until they come and its gone.

Can I ask how much that (to me) massive amount of engine work cost and where you did it? To me it looks like thousands worth of work and can't see why you'd spend that much just to sell the car...
