Lads, the mondeo is due NCT and has a slight crack about 2cms on the windscreen. Anyone know if this is a failure. New windscreen not long put in under insurance so dont want the hastle of getting another one done again as I think windscreen cover only covers 2 per year ? Any info

Hi Brian, depends where the crack is.
If directly in the sight of the driver (read middle of screen on driver's side) then could be a fail if 2cm, otherwise it is fine. The full details can be found here: http://www.nct.ie/NCT Manual Revise May 2012.pdf specifically page 26 has diagram with max damage sizes per area on the screen.
