So my TypeR went for the NCT today... and passed with flying colours 
It's funny though cause my uppipe was totally leaking... on my way to NCT, a bung which was blocking the EGT probe, fell off and got lost. It appears like the thread got stripped for some reason.
This just proves how unlucky I am about the entire NCT thing. I've been driving the car since June non stop and nothing had happened until now...
Last year on the way to NCT centre the bottom end went on my engine.
I was thinking about booking it for another day, but decided to to take a risk this time and it went through great! I was expecting the emissions to be all over the place with a leak like that... but no!
Interesting thing, with my decatted Cusco downpipe and the cat in middle section from WRX UK, the emissions were quite ok!
Low idle - only 0.16% for 0.50% allowed
High idle - 0.24% for 0.30% allowed
HC - 37 ppm for 200 allowed
Happy days!
It looks like the up-pipe out job is waiting for me tomorrow though
