need some help

[sti v5]

im trying to fit a gauge holder in the centre pod of my dash on a classic sti.... i got the lid off but i want to get the hinges out of the way....... so i took the two screws out of each side and tried to pull it off (the main compartment that comes down around the heater vents and all) but it wont budge..... it looks like it should come off to me to get at them hinges so am i doing something wrong????? heads melted........ any one that fitted one of these or knows how can you please help.... cheers

nearly sure there might be 2 more screws further down mate....
shouldnt be too hard to remove so if u reckon ur forcing it,chances are it will break
check for more screws ...
not great help i know but i have a newage and there are a few screws that are not easily seen

Theres 1 or 2 plastic snap fasteners on the new age aswell.Can take a bit to get them out.As above sounds like theres a screw youve missed.

There are more screws you have missed Im sure of it. I had the same problem when fitting my gauges. Just have a good nosey around the heater vents and you will see them.
