Howaye,

Anyone know of or can recommend a motor assesor. :dontknow:

Essentially a friend is claiming for insurance as the car was burned out and the Insurance Co got back to her
and made an offer...Solicitor informed that best off getting a motor assesment to find the guide price of the car
Not 100% sure where to be goin with this and whom to contact.
As money is tight and as shes relying on the money to buy something else for the kids she wants it sorted asap etc :icon_blahblah:

ANY IDEAS???

insurance company should send some1 out to assess the car......

go on to the like of carzone and cars ireland and look up the model and year of her car....

look at roughly close mileage to her and print them out..... this will give them a rough value on the car..

your looking for an independant assessor for a third party opinion is it aidan???
theres a few around...AA being one!!!

It's the book value of the car, is what your looking for ,
that's what the insurance pay out .

If you had a buddy woking in a gargae they could tell ya ,

otherwise i have used Stephen Bollard in the past, found him very good, based in Cork but covers Munster

if you print off some adds from carzone showing similar cars, and most main dealer will do you up something to show the cost of replacement of the car

Nice one lads....Yeah she has printed off carzone but the solicitor was saying that often it aint a true
reflection taking the average of the same car etc especially as car prices have gone down so much and
that an independent 3rd party assesors report is required.

As Niall says, if anyone has a buddy working in a garage willing to give us a short report speicifying their
current book value of the car/guide price lemme knw!?

@ Marko ill give ye a text later but would an AA report be the same as above?
