Yeah the market here for importing from Jap land seems to be gone. You don't ever see dealers selling fresh imports anymore.
 
i rang about that blue one he has and was talkin stupid money for it , and he had a silver blob that had been thru a hedge or something before and had a dodgy paint job . its so hard to find a clean newage in this country , most of the good ones are all ready on here i reckon ,
 
know you dont like the colour of the WR1 keith but at that money i'd dive on it mate!!!
if i could lose mine,i'd have it for the limited edition appeal...
otherwise your gonna have to go north or uk for a clean wide track blobeye..

thats around the figure he had on the add but said 20k would be best price on it , gave some excuse that the wrong car was up on the add , and if i wanted a trade in on my old rx the car was at 24k , was pulling figures out of his arse i reckon ,

Thats not good alright, i defo seen 16k somewhere alright, his daughter does the ads so maybe she stuck it up at that, pity cause i had thought of it for a while there aswell
 
I just was looking uk because needs no map and longer fifth gear but I'd look at all the options

6 speed in new age keith , but its really a plus not needing to get mapped and not needing booster everytime ya fill up ,

in fairness tommy hes alright to deal with, id say it was genuine mistake.

i drove that blue one, very nice car

but his lack of organisation lost him the sale of a car because i bought a very simular car 3 days later , strange thing is ive heard as many people say hes ok to deal with as ive heard sayin run a mile from him ,

Be very suprised at that Tommy tbh. maybe the lads who said that, are lads he has run out of the place, there has been a few in the past that he got rid of :dontknow:.
As i said, its his daughter that writes up the ads, its only lately he even became aware of Donedeal, he cant text etc etc, so maybe thats where the mix up came in with price.
Id say he is after selling more Turbo Imprezas than 4 or 5 of the so called main dealers put together.
Only for the man i wouldnt of ever had an Impreza, but fair enough you didnt have the experience you wanted, and the price was wrong but it wasnt to con anyone, it was a mix up..

Anyway back to topic, i cant see a Wide Track being got for 11k

any how i got mine from him and me mate bought a 00 wrx the same day off him...

Yep he's the Best of the Best as far as I'm concerned :thumbsup:

I prefer the personal touch rather than all that texting sh1t.
From what I recall the price promise at the time was on the 07 Silver STI.
