hi i was having problems with my battery if the car didnt start on the first time round the battery would go dead so i bought a new battery it made a big difference engine gained a lot of power back driving it for a day or two everything seemed fine parked it up and it wont start again. when you turn the ignition the fuel pump isnt primeing im going to check the fuses tomorrow anyone else have any ideas :angry1:
 
did you rub down the terminals and battery posts with a bit of sand paper to remove any oxidized metal. this can cause a bad connection. also make sure none of the cables detached from the terminal.
 
ya i did dat no good so i gat a new battery i was thinking it was losing power be for i got the new battery so i was happy out when it was boosting a lot batter it was runin vare slow be for the new battery den i was driven it for 2 or 3 days all seemed fine want 2 go to the shop and it would not start so i was at to day and its turning over fine bout when i turn the ignition on i cant here the fuel pump
 
could be your fuel pump, but is your alarm working ok/is your immobiliser cutting the fuel pump.
 
Sounds like the alternator not charging the battery to me. If you have a multimeter check the volts across the battery terminals and if its less that 12 it might not be charging. alternator is a cheap thing to get recoiled and easy peasy to remove and replace.
 
its turning over now so i'd say the battery is healthy enough, if there's no fuel pump running she aint goana start :thumbsup:
