They come with axxis ultima fast road pads. They are a standard siza so the manual says so should be handy to get ferrodo Ds2500's next time round.
They give you the pad size code in the manual. Cant remember what it is off hand.
Done about 5miles drivin there tryin to bed them in a bit. Stronger than standard already. Looks like they are gonna be savage.
Ill keep you posted

Oh forgot to mention, there are many Stoptech big brake kits for Subaru's. With different disc types and sizes. They even do a 6pot version but i think you need 19inch wheels for them.
My actual kit was called Impreza WRX 02+ with Drilled 328mm discs and 4pots. It was a one off where i bought it so chanced my arm that it would fit.
Only the bracket onthe supplied brake lines which holds them in place was wrong as my car is a classic.
This didnt matter as i didnt use the supplied lines, i used Goodrich Impreza P1 lines

I doesn't get any bigger or better than that!
Just paint up your rears to match and you're sorted!
Dan

Yeah i think i might give painting the rears a go. Might wait till the summer for a dry day cos i had to run in a few times yesterday because of the rain.
What id really like is a Stoptech rear big brake kit with drilled discs to match. Big money though.

The big rears would be totally unnesessery!
She'll look great with just the calipers painted!
Happy motoring
Dan

Cheers lads.
Have about 50km on the new brakes now and starting to feel their power. Going to be in hospital with whiplash i think  I think suspension mods will be next on the list. Front and rear anti roll bars etc. Coil overs at some stage too.
My plan is to make it handle and stop perfectly before i give it more power.

You're damn right!
although I honestly think coilovers are any use on normal roads! I'd just go with the whole white line package
ie. control springs, front and rear adjustable antiroll bars and droplinks! and then get your 4 wheel laser alignment done with 1.5 deg neg camber all round and she'll be as good as you could ever wan't and still be quite comfortable and more importantly complyant on the roads!
Dan

That sounds like the way to go alright Dan
I think im going to polybush or something similar the whole car too when ive the funds to do it.
As you know yourself there's always something you want to do or something that needs doing.
I only went for the brakes now because i got a good deal.
Im off to Dingle for a week on friday, so should be a good run. Think ill be bringing a jerry can though :p

Here's a better idea of what they look like. Definitly need to paint the rears red i think

Will do. You did yours did you not?
What sort of paint is it i need, something heat proof i presume?
