@ andy the phone in the car will take your standard sim but i cant remember if its a handsfree or not,there is a slot for a card under the handset you'll see it quite visibly,best of luck with the new motor mate cracking car always loved them

andy i meant the bmw phone in the armrest if you lift up the handset you will see where the sim goes

oh OK I understand. There is also a nokia hands free system just to the left of the steering wheel. Might be hard to see in the picture above but its the round looking thing. Microphone is on the roof lining at the top of the windscreen.
