New Car Options, what would you buy?

If you had up to €15k to spend on a new car, what would you buy?

Must be diesel, 2008 or newer, low enough mileage to not need any major service work, and be relatively sporty-ish with a good spec. Must have a good size boot, say big enough to easily take a set of golf clubs.

Something like the new model honda accord, e60 m-sport, also been looking at 2.2 Mazda 6 sport.

Honda would be what I'd go for
Also mondeo we looked at were nice
Was in Brian's Mazda 6 going to your stags

New model accord/ audi a4/a6 sline avant/ 520d msport/ mondeo titanium xsport /

Mate has one of them passat cc's he is on his 3rd turbo in 18 months
Lucky the place he got it from is standing over it

must be something wrong with it to be going through that many turbos .
but yeah get a bad vw and it will be a pain

I'd have the Accord 2.2 cdti. Gorgeous car, comfy, mpg as good as any other diesel and Honda reliability.

8k would be more then a decent car

No, it's just a max figure. The car just has to be newer than 2008 and diesel and look good with a good boot

Passat cc , looks ok , big boot and vw diesel economy ,

Just a personal thing but I just hate passats.

I would agree with the accord ,stay away from anything in the vag group they are over rated .for my money I would buy a 2.0 tdci mondeo very comfy in estate they have buckets of room they handle brilliant and if anything does go wrong they are cheap to repair by comparison

A4 is too small, same as the 3 series, 5 series m sports seem to be all over the place with price, some around 15, seen 1 or 2 at 24k

What model is that mondo dec? I assume it's the top spec sport model? Does that have cruise control, etc?
