I've been lurking on here for too long. Time to introduce myself ????. Been involved with cars for a long time, have had a few s2000s, Crx sir, integras and took a dc5 to the Nurburgring last year. Also into vintage mg and triumphs.

So i got my first Subaru wrx a few weeks ago, it has the PPP also. Was told it was the last 2 litre turbo wrx sold in Ireland . It's a 2006 reg. Crystal grey, leather, sunroof, TEIN edfc suspension. It's a standard car, no fancy mods except for a suspension. Even has standard wheels ????.

Looking to do a few simple subtle mods to get the most out if it.

Looking forward to meeting you all at some point.

Jamie

Welcome, think I remember for sale as well, mint looking car if I'm right, best of luck with it, ????????

Thanks a, absolutely delighted with it. A very clean car indeed, only wish is that I bought an impreza sooner. Very impressed with the power delivery of the turbo as opposed to the VTEC that I am more accustomed to. Very smooth... And dare I mention torque!????

Welcome to the club, lovely car, I remember it for sale also, if its genuine ppp then its circa 260 bhp with more torque so noticeable differance over standard wrx, enjoy it

Welcome along

Stick up a few pics of your cars when you get a chance

How do you find the s2000 compared to the dc5.

I have a dc5 at the moment and I think thats one of the only cars I'd sell it for.

I have only ever driven s2000's for short periods but what are they like to live with

Your wrx sounds lovely

Will get some pics today.

The s2000 is a great car, light with nimble handling. I've owned two AP1 which are the earlier models with no traction control. They are very light at the back as you can imagine if you are really pushing them on.. To live with everyday I would chose the DC5 hands down. You've comfort, space and power and its no big deal if you leave it out in the rain. I always felt the s2000 was only a sunshine car, closest thing to a motorbike when you've the roof down. Only took mine out of the garage if was dry or sunny.
If the DC5 is your daily driver then I wouldn't change it for an s2000. My girlfriend and I took one to the Nurburgring last year and it served us well, felt nice a d secure at high speeds on the motorway. I wouldn't fancy doing the trip in an s2k..

The plan is to return next year to the Nurburgring in the WRX :subaruimprezawrxico
