New GT-R Vspec, Waste of money

I just read about the ew GT-R Vspec,
What an absolute wste of money, Its damn near twice the price of the base model
€14K stg for the exhaust ,nothing can sound that good
€16K stg for the brake pads ,like the front 8pot brembos and rear 6 pots aren't enough?? I can't imagen you could possibly over whelm the standard brakes if they were ducted
€35K stg for the brake discs ,as above
€15K stg for the turbos, ,the vspec is exactly the same bhp as the base car!!

and she's only 60kg lighter then the normal GT-R,, sure just go to the loo before you go for a drive, same thing!

What a load of crap!

me thinks you bought the Top Gear mag Dan was reading that myself too. they wouldn't give out the numberg ring time for the v spec thats cause they reckon as you said the standard one was quicker and the far better car
 
the only think in its defence is those price look horrible because of the yen exchange rate its not that price n japan
 
why anyone wants an over priced datsun is beyond me , Ahh still be serious car n if ya won da lotto could ya honestly say it wouldn't be in your dream garage ?
 
similar questions raised in JP a couple of months ago - although they praised it, they were sceptical about the extra cost!
 
Your only paying for the badge!! On the older models the GT-R V-Specs were in a completely different league to the standard form and justified the difference in price but definately not on this one!!

Is that the Titanium exhaust system? Seen on another forum Sean McKeever just fitted one of them to his motor. Mad money!
 
my mate in america drives a 05 nissan sentra spec v.
Its a 2.5 and he got it for like 7k
I no its a totally different car
But he said the spec v is better then the normal spec of that year.
