New Impreza ??

the 200bhp n/a version would be the one to have IMO....but I can't see it meeting EU regulations they are are heavily biased towards turbo cars....thats why honda have dropped the vtec and all the M cars are now to be turbo charged...if this car makes it to europe with a high revving n/a I'd be very surprised

What the feck are they on about 148,200,300bhp
Surley to god a car that looks like this should be at least 500,550bhp
Its about time subaru stuck it to the nissan, bmw audi and merc gang.

Lot of competition in that market...going up against the M3, RS5, and most importantly for a Jap car the GTR. The idea is to make a small light affordable coupe...at 25k its only real competitor is the 370z which has been a complete flop in Europe..the scoob coupe should be a better bet with a 2.0 litre engine, easier to get young buyers on board, cheaper tax and insurance.
The 1 series M car is about to hit the market...that has 350 bhp but it weighs about 1550kg so if the scoob coupe can weight under 1300kg with 300bhp it should be more than a match for it...the 1M will be about 37k(uk price) without options so the scoob coupe is under cutting by nearly 15k.
I think this could be a winner for Subaru, lets hope so anyway.

while everyone else enjoys free reving 200bhp n/a cars and 300 bhp turbo versions we will be left with a diesel version at best thanks to our stupid and illegal vrt system ,
