My insurance is for renewal tomorrow. This crowd quoted €835tpft. Aviva want €1400. Chill.ie€950. Pibasure.ie €884. 123.ie €659. xs direct €609. Axa wont quote. Quinn I refuse to deal with. FBD refuse to quote. I'm 30,1 years no claims(have full but using it on another car),no convictions,no penalty points. Looks like its 123.ie for me. And no-nonsense.ie are in fact a load of nonsense.
 
No nonsense are FBD in fancy trainers as far as i know and not competitive at all. Has anyone else tried AIB for insurance. When i first got the leggy, FBD (who i was with at the time on my 1.5 almera paying €850), wanted an extra €300 so tried AIB online and got the leggy for €680. There's huge discounts for doing it online and if you have your bank accounts with them and mortgage. They're underwritten by Aviva.

Aib dont list a B4 at all. Closest is a 2.0 GL turbo(which I dont think exists) and even for that they wanted €1188
 
wont quote me at all, im 28 7 year NCB full clean licence what a load of bollox, so i stayed with axa 1067 euro FC :D
 
fu*k sake lads count your selves lucky im 21 2 years ncb with fbd switched from a focus to a1.6 impreza and got quoted 1600 got my renewal this year and went down to 1100 bunch of scamming bastards my dad has an 05 mustang rang fbd first woulndt quote him then they quoted him 3500 what aload of shite he didnt pay dnt no hu hes wit now but hes payin 850

I dont consider myself lucky at all-I'm 30 with full no-claims that I earned by being careful-its got nothing to do with the car but I'm not allowed to use it on another policy. You should consider yourself lucky-at 22 I was charged €5250 for a 1.5 civic-I think I'm entitled to cheap insurance at this stage considering I've given them 25k+ over the years and not claimed once-even for a windscreen.
 
i remember payin 3500 pounds like 10/11 yrs ago on my 1st fiesta. I dont miss them days :lol:
 
Axa don't list Imprezas anymore on their online site. When I started driving it was 3,800 fully comp at 17 on a 1.1 Pug 206.

@Murf8969. fu*k that for a game of cards you're being raped, that's what Axa charged me this year for my 1.6 TS and I'm only 19 with 1 years NCB. FBD are a rip off on anything other than an aul daysul passat.

What's this excess carry on? Is that the same as XS Direct if you're involved in an accident and make a claim ya have to pay that excess on top of your premium?
