New Legacy sti in Inchicore

I passed what looked like a new Legacy STI in Inchicore this morning.

It was WR blue on Gold BBS wheels and either it had an sti bodykit in or it was the real deal. It looked like the real thing with the large front bumper and all the usual sti bits but I didn't get a chance to stop and get a good look. From what I saw of it, it looked like the Legacy tuned by STI more than the actual Legacy STI which is actually different looking with the BMW style strakes.

I'll come into work that way again next week and get a really good look at it if its parked around there again.

spec b looks like an sti and 18inch gold wheels standard and wr blue.


have yet to see a genuine legacy sti in ireland.......
 
s402 legacy sti only available from 2008 onwards. Tuned by STI models available in 05/06, has all the handling/braking.visual upgrades the STI model has but engine wise i think they are still the same. SPEC B models have different front bumper to standard! AS a great man once said:

I just didn't have enough time to get a decent look at it but I have seen plenty Spec B Legacys and I'm fairly sure it had a different front bumper to them.

I cant recall for sure whether it was definitely a 08 model either as I only had a bout 3 seconds to look at it as I drove past but from all the pictures I've seen of the Legacy tuned by STI and the Legacy S402 it looked identical to the former. Of course I could be completely wrong but hopefully I'm not as it would make a great addition to the clubs tally of rare Scoobies.

The reason I didn't put up any pics of the Legacy tunes by STI and the Legacy S402 is because there have been plenty of threads on them before on the site.

I will keep an eye out for it again this week.

Yes it looked like that one but I thought it had a different front bumper being much deeper. Also I'm not certain about it having the quad pipes at the rear. I know the chances if it being an STI or S402 are slim. If I see it again I'm going to pull over and take photos. I hope the owner doesn't see em or he'll think I'm putting it on a mail order list to the Middle East!

saw this at a "multisite" meet up at the tuning fatory. think its someone from manic. nice bus regardless of what model it is. me and rob4 had a nice drool over it :lol:

WEll, was it an sti or a Jap import Spec B with the 2.0 turbo engine?
 
that sounds like the one dan has a pic of on his phone i had looked a the car when it was in southside automotive not a STI though some kind of special edition wr blue paint gold wheels and black leather with blue alcantara in the centers with subaru badge stiched into the seat v nice car!!

i know the car, i tried to buy it in Limerick. It is not an sti it is a b4 twin turbo wrc edition (a limited run of blue with gold wheels, balck and blue leather seats). It is also an auto with the trip gearbox, very rare. It was an 04 model but totally immaculate. It has 2 huge exhausts. It was a real bargain, originally it was €24,500 but reduced to €18,500. But he wouldnt take my 05 legacy in part ex! I offered 6k plus my car but he still wouldnt take it! It is now owned by someone around Killaloe Co Clare.
 
i thing a lot of people tried to buy it i also called down but he wouldn't take a trade in .enterprize cars in limerick is where it was nice car all right
 
single twin-scroll turbo from late 03 models onwards. :thumbsup: Auto tip gearbox is probably the most common on these cars. 80% sold in japan are auto's

no she is not an auto , she is manual
