New member in the market for a Scoob!

Thanks for all the welcomes and suggestions guys!

@ AndyC : Thanks for the suggestion, but it's a Blitzen wagon I'd ideally like.
@ Finnmacool : Thanks for the link to the B4. Like you said though, she's not a wagon :icon_cry:. She looks mint though. If I change my mind about wagons, I'll definitely look into that one.
@ Sweetcakes : They're fair rare alright. I think my only option will be to import one. Don't think I want to go through that hassle again though, so I might lower my sights. :boohoo:
@ BrianSTi : Thanks for the subtle hint!

At the risk of getting flamed to high heaven, and even though I've always liked the Imreza Wagon's, I don't think they're "family man" material. :icon_hang:
To me, they seem more "in your face", whereas the Legacy wagon is more understated. They also seem to have more of a stigma attached to them as regards "boy racers" :wall:, and attract the wrong sort of attention.

Now having said all that, and just to clarify I've always liked the Impreza Wagon, I'm seriously tempted by Deco's STI Wagon, if for no other reason that I've got a 94 Corolla that he might take in p/x....kill two birds so to speak.
I'm a bit worried about the exhaust being too loud though (how old am I getting?! :zzzz:). That's pretty sad isn't it?!

You could be right mate, my mistake. Might only have the Bilstein suspension. Im not sure if it is a Blitzen model.

It is a Blitzen wagon :ponder2: :ponder2:

Is it not a GT-B with the Bilstein suspension, as opposed to a (Porsche Designed) Blitzen? :ponder:

Don't get fooled by the Porche design sell on the biltzen mecahnically they are the same..

Thanks Dragnut.

I was just saying that to differentiate between the Blitzen and the Bilstein. People might've thought that I meant Bilstein, being a newbie an' all! :shhh:

Plenty of room in the impreza for baby chairs, buggies, bags etc

Is there though?

I've never been in a wagon, but I always got the impression they were more like a hatchback than an estate. Probably miles off with that though!

Welcome along :subaru: :subaru:

I think Impreza's are perfect family cars - 4 doors, big boot,...

Welcome along buddy. You're making the right choice buying a scooby, but imprezas have 4 doors too & they're much better cars

Nice try there Brian

@ soarersan welcome to the Club mate
as the lads already said , you'll struggle to get your hands on a Blitzen Wagon unless you import it yourself. However you won't go far wrong with a GT-B (280 bhp standard) or a GT ( 260 bhp standard) spec's espically if it's going to be used for cruzin the family around and you won't be dissapionted with the handling , comfort or performance.
Good luck with the search.

WELCOME BRO

BG5 ALL THE WAY

i love mine lots of room in the boot

i got 10 bodies in the boot of mine

happy shoping right time to buy a car

Alright Denis.

Car looks good, but I think I'm gonna try hold out for the Blitzen. Or maybe a tuned GT-B.

@ Johnny T. Got in touch with the lad selling the Red Blitzen, and she's still for sale. I'm waiting for him to get back to me with a few pictures before I go have a look and start haggling! :smokin:
