6k for vrt is not too bad . I know you had to pay 12 and appeal but it’s not bad for a fresh import .
So what’s it’s standing you ball park 20-23
 
Ya around 23 give or take all in before a couple of extra pound then to get it running right for Irish fuel and few extras like timing belt etc just for piece of mind
 
I had they appeal gone in and I’d say by the end of the day I had the 6 k back in the account I think myself they didn’t look into it too much just seen the appeal and approved it didn’t want the hassle
 
I had the same with a legacy charged double what it should have cost got half back on appeal .it’s the hassle of it all .
