alright lads im from cork looking to buy a legacy :afro: ideally it would be black ,leather and mapped but will consider other ones ,going to look at a blue one tmw in cork :)

may consider a nice wrx too or an sti if the money is right , have a budget of 5k at the moment but that will increase once i shift my altezza :049: :049: :049:

thanks but i dont like white cars should of mentioned that  legacy is first preference as its half the insurance of a sti but i will consider a newer wrx/sti :police:

Welcome along mate  ... Good luck with the search, only sold my black, mapped, 6 speed B4 there a few weeks ago :icon_sad:

Mixed reaction to be honest. I bought mine as a fresh import and ran it for a year without any problems before i mapped it. But it was standard when i got it and ran it. It really depends on the individual car and how it has been treated since it was imported. I'm looking for a type r impreza now at the moment and will not buy an unmapped one that has modifications. Its a buyers market so you can afford to wait for whatever you want to come up. Make sure you are also getting the right deal for yourself, no point in spending your budget just because you have it to spend

ya agree with you there that link i posted above i seen the car a few times at meets etc and he always has it looking clean so its definitely worth a look . i wouldnt pay 4300 for a 99 it would be sub 4k definitely but ill wait till 5.30 and i can judge better

dont know why i want one everybody keeps filling my head with " its going to blow " "always give boost problems " "hard on petrol " but i cant get away from one :subaru:

I loved mine to bits and only got rid of it because I'm looking for a weekend toy now. If its something for everyday use, then they are a brilliant car.

Have a look at the car and if you like it, then next time bring someone to see it that knows about them. Th elad that bought mine made me jump through hoops but i didnt mind cause i knew the car was sound. Just take your time, see a few so you can compare speed etc, and remember that they are not shifting quickly so don't feel pressured into buying too soon

good points
leather in good condition
wheels are lovely
tein coilovers
fresh nct

bad points
not mapped
dents on the passenger side doors prob 2-300 euro worth
headlights faded
few marks on the body

overall really impressed and think i have my hearth set on one now so let the search continue :subaru: :subaru:

there is a chance i could get the above car but need some sway in the price which might not happen

Well man. Welcome along. There's loads of lads on here happily running B4 legacys with no issues and most seem to be unmapped examples.

Best of luck with the search.
