hi y,all , first time subaru owner , just got a 99 forester 2.0 turbo , goin, to use it for my kayak outings. just replaced suspesion and sprigs ,last ones were completely mushed , am trying to source a radiator now , don,t know whether to buy new or secondhand, i won,t be doing big mileage, cracks around the spout . had great fun changing spark plugs , not.
thanks for any info it would be very much appreciated.
 
yep defo new rad mate ,dont forget if your changing your oil to fill the oil filter first, being your first scooby,and welcome

My auto forester had an oil cooler built in, so make sure you get the correct one!

thanks for info , ye just changed oil, didn,t fill filter though ,should i just put extra 1/2 litre in ?
 
NO!!!! take filter back off and fill it,have you started it yet
