New project ....

Go bigger than 750 if you can-3 mates of mine run buggys for autocross, one is a 2l vauxhall red top, another is 1300 hayabusa and the third is a rage 1000cc blade engine. Believe it or not on some surfaces the 750 will bog down a bit. If you do go 750 or less(defo no less than 600)-you should run 10" wheels. Above 1000cc-12" or 13". Id also advise fabricating a few panels-thistles and sh1t are no fun flying in your face at 70mph. Agood thick plexiglass screen will help a lot too. And chain drives tend to break a lot-go for shafts if possible. Nice chassis work lad-best of luck

Good luck wit ur project richie keep us updated on it. It will b good job when finished a young lad down the road from me built 2 of them he has 1100cc engine in them and as stew said he has them on u tube so u can see them but he had big problem wit the chain breakin but he got it sorted out

Alot of the lads I used to knock around with built these in the past and swore by 1000 CC plus engines till one of them tried a turbo'd 750...... Left them all for dust...... (just a small turbo is all that was needed)
And to solve the Chain Breaking issues when they couldnt get shaft drives sorted.... They used 2 or 3 chains at once..... 2 or 3 sprocket sets side by side. They broke occasionally under severe abuse but no more often than other shaft driven yokes at that stage.....

Definitely put an under belly on it or you will be picking thistles and thorns outta your ar$echeeks for months after only 1 run....

Make sure to get videos up when its finished and out for a bit of "Stress reduction therapy".

alright lad i will have that engine ready to go omorrow evening if you want to send a courier down around lunch time give me a ring i am miss placing your number
