hi you all. Just got my first scooby last thurs and havent stopped driving since literally.i dont condone spirited driving but my god how do you restrain yourselves.true heroes all of ye.mines a 97 ver 3 sti in white and gold 16's.using lucas octane boost with standard 95 octane. Seems to work. Also changed oil and filter with subaru filter and castrol edge oil 10w60 as i couldn't get motul or mobil 15w50 in cork.glad i did it before i started driving it or i wouldn't have after i caught the driving bug.lots of parts ordered already.clear lenses for a start. Turbo timer to follow anyone with bits i might want?

ya name came from a band i was in.never took off as you can imagine.we were big fans of hunter s thompson in college and i still aspire to be more like him.without all the pharmaceuticals of course.gicker came from the seedier connetations which gonzo also refers to.do you get what i mean.har!

Have to say never heard of the guy, just you tubed it there, seems like a mad thing,
did he write fear and lothing in las vages, or was it just about him, dont get what you
mean regarding gonzo doe, is that just his referance to the pharmaceuticals :lol: :thumbsup:

yep. Hunter was totally off his box.but was also a literary genius.correct he wrote fear and loathing plus way better stuff.it was written by him,about him.i admire that he lived life to the full without worrying about consequences. An inspirational character who could also have any lady in the room by the way. See why i studied him yet?

ive a 92 legacy rs, mark is a top subaru mechanic he does alot of work for us cork lads... he wont screw ya with a price either.... i wouldnt trust any1 else with my car :thumbsup:
 
damn. Missed your point. Gonzo was his new style of journalism.he used to say stuff like instead of "lets go into this room" he would say "lets go through the wall".and usually he would go ahead and do just that. See!
