New Series of 5th Gear

For those who have given up on Top Gear as a motoring programme, 5th Gear starts a new series tonight on Channel 5. I know this will have a limited audience as I think this channel is only available on Sky, but I'll be glued to it tonight @ 8pm.

Vicky is testing the new Ferrari California - two of my favourite things there in one go

What number channel is channel 5?? I lost interest in top gear, Vietnam special was funny but i thought it was supposed to be a car show, not a holiday destination show..

A strange one alright, I've been digging around t'interweb thingie & all the sites say that channel 5 is no longer available to ROI customers, which was the case with my old sky box. Although I got Sky HD the week before Christmas & the engineer added loads of channels (including channel 5) which I can guarantee works as I've been watching it :ponder2:

Ok so the only way you'll be able to watch this is by unplugging your sky box, take out your sky card & plug your box back in again. Your box should default to UK listings and you'll find channel 5 @ 105.

Let me know how you get on

Ok I found the frequencies to add channel 5 to sky box

Press Services on Sky Remote

Then option 4 (system setup)
Then option 4 (add channels)

Change to the following:

Frequency 10773
Polarisation H
Symbol Rate 22.0
FEC 5/6

Then click "find chanels"

Highlight "Five" and press the yellow button on your remote.
Then press select - you should get a message saying channel line-up complete.

Now to find the channel :

Press Services.
The option 9 (other channels), click on "five" and hey presto you should have Channel 5 (I hope)
