New speed limit policy in central Dublin

How do you, guys from Dublin, like new speed limits, expanding 30km/h zone?

30km/h on Quays? For me sounds ridiculous.
Understand the sense of it for those smaller streets around, but traveling through city may be annoying soon.
One more reason to stay away?

Slow the cars down so the busses can go faster....This is all to discourage private traffic into the city center I think.

still recon we are about 2 years away from a conjestion charge..........

Reducing the speed limit in the city centre is something that has been talked about in council meetings and planning meetings for the last 3 years........
