New STi

With the 2,000 a year road tax all new WRX and STi's will attract post 31 June 08 it wont matter how ugly the new Impreza is as that will finish the new car.

On the up side the used values of cars registered pre 1st July 08 should be shored up by the new Road Tax regime so there shouldn't be too many people concerned about how ugly the new car is when the old ones hold their value well again and still attract admiring looks rather than confused "how could they stares"!

Seen a black 08 sti at the weekend and have to say I am impressed , looks so much better in the flesh. would be quite happy if I could afford one to invest

Agree with you there frawls, there wont ever be a huge number of theses in Ireland because of 2k a year tax band.. i like the new shape, has to be black with the 18inch BBS wheels though. at the end of the day lads in this car its whats underneath thats important, and its still putting out 300bhp staying toe to toe with the evo. in saying that subaru could have done a lot better with the styling. i still wouldnt buy one unless i won the lotto

as for the new evo... :icon_hang: its horrible
 
i hate to say it lads but i like it,

think there a lovely lookin machine,
didnt like it at the start
but because the brother works for
carroll & roach i see him take nice ones home all the time.
