sounds like i have got myself a nice model, the previous owner did not know what e tune was. Up her in donegal we don't have E5. But say if waa down south would ya run E5 and octane boost. Ill be using standard 95 octane but with octane boost would that be ok for now.

I ran mine for over a year unmapped on 95 and lucas before E5 was available and before i got it mapped... Defo use a good booster, lucas or NF are proven but i would get it mapped if you can

Should be ok. But the B4 lads will be along soon to say for sure but I think maps on B4's are normally only done to eliminate VOD between the turbos.

B4's are mapped for the same reasons impreza's are.. improved performance, reliability etc... vod will be reduced as well but they are not mapped for that specific reason only

I didn't think that they suffered the same as early Imprezas though. You don't here of to many engines going in them. Always though they where only done for preformance and VOD reduction when in standard spec. I know that any Subaru once modified needs to be mapped though:thumbsup:

only have to do a slight scuff on the front bumper and my bonnet vent plastics gone white, once that's don't he body work will be like it was just of the factory
