New Wagon Owners

Wagon Rob

Octane Boostaholics
Hi folks. After nearly a week browsing the site I thought it was only polite to say hello. [emoji4]

We picked up our Wagon last weekend and I've been smiling since. With the long list of previous owners I'm hoping someone on here might recognise it and give me some help as to its history?

No great plans for it besides replacing missing/broken/butchered bits first, getting it serviced and belt done then enjoying it as a daily driver. Probably add an exhaust, change the turbo and get it mapped at some stage then to keep it reliable.

So here she is - '98 Irish turbo. Anyone recognise it?

Thanks for the welcome lads. Hope Ye're ready for plenty of questions!

If it comes to you Colm let me know.

Cheers lads. Into the second week of ownership with nearly 800 miles clocked and I've only one small gripe. Other than that it's plenty smiles per gallon (and plenty daydreaming of mods and slight changes of course! ) :)

remember when i bought mine
my only gripe was the boot lid position
wife banged her head off it
lads on here suggested i buy a crash helmet
the rest is history :lol2
few years now

Cup holder is grand for me, but the passenger one that's supposed y to be in the arm rest is missing. [emoji1]

Nah, the gripe is the amount of times I have to visit the petrol station - not because of the consumption, but because the tank is so darn small! Just about squeezed 45 litres in today after the light came on. Means a range of less than 300 miles and a return trip to Dublin will require an extra pit stop. [emoji30]

Guess that's the joys of rear prop and diff stealing tank space. I'm sure I'll come to terms with it [emoji28]

Its a 55litre tank in them :)

You have a good bit left when the light comes on if it coming on at 45 litres, when mine comes on I've about 50-60km left

On average I get about 350-400km around town and my best from motorway journey was 500-550km from a tank but I have a Uk 6 speed in mine so it helps
