new wheels

Sunday Drivers
looking to get a new set of wheels for my bug  would like a set that are wider looking than the norm, was thinking of the rota gtr's. they give most cars a wider looking stance. any ideas or pics of your wheels would be great

rota are nice looking wheels but if you sneeze, they shatter into thousands of pieces killing numerous kittens!
stay away from any reps, the bbs reps are expensive for what they are and EVERYONE can tell the difference and laugh.

what colour is your bug? lowered?

rotas stand up to a crazy amount of abuse without breaking or cracking, had them for the past 5 years and not a thing wrong with them even with our sh*t roads

 cheers guys, ya i do like the rotas anyone have any pics. my bug is blue and is lowered slightly. was thinking of nice set of black wheels???

i had a set of 9.5 x 18'' rota grids on my 06 sti the car that fk performane has now
and i use to do donuts at the cross road just up from my yard here an they took dogs abuse
never ever let me down
same with the bbs reps had a set of 19'' rs repd on a caddy van here that i only sold lately i used to
tow a 3 axle trailer with a 4 tone digger or the bob cat or roller on it and they never skipped a beat pal

Something like this? My trackday wheels. :afro:

I have to say that is absolute bull. I have had a about 3 or 4 sets over the years , using on track and survived numerous pot holes, yes I do like the real deal but nothing wrong with rotas

nice track wheels man , tyres look like they are fairly grippy 2 :icon_omg:

Thanks Tommy. The tyres were faultless on track unless you really bullied them. Toyo 888 235/40/18 :049:
One thing about the Rotas is they are a heavier rim over the BBS, but they are much cheaper also.

Did you buy the Rotas local or from uk ? have been toying with the idea of a concave style rota but dont know anywhere that would be capable of ordering the correct off set , either that or just buy a set of turini's ,

888's have great rep for track driving all right ,
