New WRX STi Carbon

Auto is for jap markets and US markets where autos are very popular..the car won't be on sale in uk/europe so it doesn't really matter..spec c is on the way(jdm only). Subaru have also annouced they are no longer making 2 wheel drive models and will be concentraing on Sti/wrx modles and diesels...so expect a lot of hot/more focused versions of the Impreza to be arriving in the next coupled of years

So, why the changes? According to Subaru's very short press release (available if you click through the post), the autobox "offers distinctive driving performance to a wider range of customers,"

In other words , its being made for the people who are too fat or lazy to use a manual 6 speed .....
ie our american friends .....

I can't understand why they didn't make the Spec's roof carbon which is a lot lighter than aluminium. Actually the weight saving on the Spec over a regular STi is only 35kgsw which is not that much. The Carbon roof looks great though especially on a white car
