Newage / Classic exhaust fitment??

Hey lads,
Im looking to get a full 3" decat system for my 05 sti UK, Anyone know if a full system off a classic will actually fit? - I know the hangers on the back box will have to be changed but would would a turbo back system off a classic fit a newage??

As long as its a full turbo back system, i.e. downpipe, centre and backbox, then afaik it will fit with some modification to the hangers. Needs to be a full system though. Someone on here was only talking about it the other day.

I take it you're looking at buying second hand ad want to open the market up a bit if classic systems are more widely available?
 
It will but the downpipes are completely different and wont interchange also you will to shorten the middle pipe as the downpipe is longer on newage
 
Some classic cat backs will fit new age, I have one for sale that has one hanger missing so it will fit both classic and new age

Sweetcakes - your bang on there! theres a lot of good deals to be had on classic systems atm! - trying to keep costs down with the remap and all! :)
Anyone on here deff got a classic downpipe on a newage?
