Well lads..

My names stephen, I've been a nissan man so far.. owned almera / almera gti / pulsar Vzr etc.... Always loved Scooby's and am currently contemplating buying one and want to find out all i need to know etc... :)

Look forward to learning all i can and hopefully input into the site too :)

im new here myself man, just got my first subaru two weeks ago, was always a toyota/ ford nut, had an r32 skyline for a while too

If you are going to buy a WRX... you'd be best buying an Irish WRX as you'll generally get one with a more comprehensive service history... and they are home market cars built for our roads and fuel.

Car looks a little rough... that bumper I think is unrepairable too... you'd be looking at having to source one and possibly get one painted which could add another 300-400 to the car. If there is a timing belt or clutch due (as it has a 110k miles on it now) they could both set you back 600 euros each to get done... so beware of car that may be in need of either... or take it into account with regards to your offer.

Personally I think they are cleaner cars around. I know of a Irish silver bug sat up in garage since it's owner took it off the road when he bought an MR2 turbo about 6 months back. I can ask what his plans are with it if you're keen. It's wicklow based.
