Well how's it goin?

My name's andrew, 21 years old and living in mitchelstown in north cork.

I bought a jap imported 00 wrx impreza last week and noticed the club sticker on the windscreen meaning one of the previous owners is a member on here..

I joined to find out the history of the car, to find parts i need and to gain basic knowledge and understanding of imprezas as it's my first one.

Since i bought the car i removed the mudflaps, lowered the suspension and generally cleaned it up.

Plans for the future include jap plates, machine polish, thorough interior clean, rear p/s cv joint, front p/s hub, polybush kit, uprated intercooler, boost controller, different exhaust and more..

The current spec isnt amazing but has a few bits..

Apexi rsm
Apexi super grounding kit
Hks bov
Hks mushroom intake
Cusco coilovers with adjustable cusco top mounts.
Cusco front strut brace
Catback exhaust system
Triple dash mount gauge holder with boost, volts and oil temp gauges

Rare duraflex zero rear spoiler
Unknown roof spoiler
Unknown splitter
Unknown grille - Maybe you can help with brands?

Few more bits i can't think of at present..

I had a legacy tt wagon a while back too so i'll get pics up of both cars..

never saw that spoiler before - mental to say the least but in a good way :thumbsup:

Roof spoiler is most likely an eBay replica and the splitter is most likely an eBay job too or possibly ht autos job. Never seen the rear spoiler before

i think thats jgarde's (james) old wrx, he was from the youghal area....
if theres a stainless downpipe on her its the 1 i sold him, think hes in oz now....
 
if i remember right he got that rear spoiler off a club member, its off a classic impreza....

@JOHNNY T: I think you could be right, I bought it off a local lad who said he got it in midleton and he said the same about the spoiler but i thought it was an aftermarket one specially made for this car as it is shaped to fit the boot perfectly.. ? Noit sure about the stainless downpipe, ive yet to get under it..

@lloyd_flat4: Thanks for the comments, i'm into japanese styling and not at all interested in rally spec stuff so if i have my way it'll be going a lot lower with some much nicer wheels.. :D

@CARLO: i pulled em off before i took pictures, they were dealership black rubber ones and were all faded and perished. I might consider some moulded body colour mudguards but think it would flash with the type of styling i'm planning..

Here's some pictures that have inspired my styling plans, i think i'll keep the spoilers tho..
