Newbie GT Series 11 Owner from Portlaoise-Advice Needed!

Hi Guys,

Just a brief introduction, always wanted a classic scooby so recently bought a 99 GT Series 11, love the looks and the performance.!

Will post pictures soon!

Anyway, a bit of advice needed for a new owner, i want to get the car serviced locally and want to do so with a specialist of sorts, can anyone recommend anyone around Laois?

With work commitements etc i'm not in a position to travel to Meath etc etc unfortunately!

Stay away from above foreigner there was revving mine to limiter to get boost gauge moving didn't realise engine needs to be under load
Wagon dec be able to sort you out

Anybody got Tommy Martin in Tulamore's number? I don't need work yet but I would like a timing belt change on my 02 WRX soon. I have to do the NCT first. I'm in Mullingar so I could do with someone local. Thanks,
 
i only said his name as i bought a new subaru off him in 2000 :hairdresser: but havent used him since 2002 things change he was very good back then . talk to a wagon dec or lads over that area they wont see you wrong :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
 
Thanks for info guys, need a complete service and 'rocker gaskets' done on both sides i've being advised.

There is a Subaru garage in carlow, active cars, or am i likely to pay a fortune in a main dealers?

Do subaru garage stamps have much bearing on re-sale value?

Similar story to yours lad recently bought a 01 classic and had to get the rocker cover gaskets done both sides. Davelegacy at sti tuning looked after me and sorted out some other issues also. Very happy with the work. I know hes in navan but it seems hard to find a good independent specialist these days. It might be worth giving him a text hes on the site.
