newbie here..soon to be subaru owner. any info on these cars ?

I'm stuck between the two . To be honest I'm not really in a major hurry to buy it's just that these two caught my eyes . The leggy seems the more intelligent buy . Low mileage , tax an longer nct . But iv always had a soft spot for an impreza :)
 
impreza would be the fun choice , leggys are that bit bigger and heavier but more refined , its really a personal thing and what your looking from them car ,

but your right about not rushing into anything , do your homework on both cars and when ya see one you fancy get one of the site traders to give it a good once over before buying .



but buy an impreza , that way you'll have no regrets
 
If i had to pick from those particular 2 cars, its the Legacy, what are you looking for out of a car? That will help any advise.

If its just a straight choice, I'd take the B4 all day long. A B4 won't compare to an STI but is more than capable of holding its own against a standard WRX. Despite peoples general opinion, there's only 65kg in the difference and the B4 is more powerful and cheaper to insure :hjtwofinger:

I will be honest guys I'm looking for a weekend toy . Iv a disesl van for work an the mile munching and I wanted something for the weekend. I will be straight , I'm 27 and have had a nice few performance cars throughout me years ., although I never was put in the boy racer bracket, that I'm glad of . Am I right in thinking that the legacy might not be as raw or refined as the wrx ? The legacy seems to be taken care of alot better , but that's only an opinion based on the ads an a few Txts over an back to each owner
 
If you're after a weekend toy... and have had a few performance cars... then go with an Impreza STI.

Legacy's are good cars... but not as easy to mod and nowhere near as performance focused as the Impreza.
 
B4 and wrx would be along the same lines, neither would be considered weekend toys. If you're after a weekend toy, get an STI.
 
I know the owner of the legacy very tidy machine and remapped aswell
