Newbie with a classic UK turbo.

How do.
Just recently bought this UK turbo.
I'd been looking for one this colour at sensible money for ages and finally got one.
It's gonna be a Sunday car and I'll do some subtle mods along the way.

Was told this is the place to be if any Subaru help or advice is needed.
So hopefully you's go easy on me if/when the time comes.

Cheers

Welcome along nice classic you have there

Feel free to ask any questions

Ciaran WRX

Thanks Ciaran.

As its tested for a year I plan to drive it for now.
But for piece of mind I'm gonna get it serviced and belted before I do anything.

Will upgrade the clutch and brakes when funds allow.
Any pointers as to what to go for?

A bit to look at doing is the plugs when servicing imprezas they are hard to get to so possibility ignored by previous owners this will help fuel consumption to have fresh ones

Good oil change mabay a coolent flush if it's been in it for a while and genuine oil filter

Is the cluch sliping?

If not its grand no need to change standard cluch just fine unless your running huge power wait till it need one then change

Kinda same thing for brakes have a look at getting good quality pads check see if there's much of a lip on the disks if not should be ok get good brake fluid bleed the system mabay get some braded lines I found this makes a big difference

All depends on how everything is operating

Hope that helps[emoji106]
