well folks just bought a 00 B4 manual legacy, loving it so far, im a BIG time VDubber so this is a bit of a change for me!!!!

theres a random story behind buying the car, i was on my way to buy a mk2 golf and got a lift in the legacy off my mate, drove it for a bit and that was it! SOLD!

so iv gone to the darkside :tongue: pretty good so far!

few pics (not clean etc) plans are lower it, full leather, wheels, uprated breaks, map.

Nice car enjoy, keep her filled up with Maxol E5, give her good oil regularly and you should have no problems.

BTW the brakes look like standard 2 pots to me.

im well used to running cars on E5 so the B4 is more of the same! as for leather just for the look really! :tongue:

these were my last seats so got used to the leather!

the breaks arent great so deffo want to uprate them! whats the best to go for? (used to the vag thing of OE upgrade's)

get a set of brembos from an sti there a nice upgrade or subaru 4 pots are another upgrade but they are about half the price of the brembos. nice car btw welcome to the club :thumbsup:

Regarding the brakes I don't actually think the 2 pot callipers are that bad, its the disks themselves far too small for the size and weight of the car.
I changed out in 2 stages did the disks first and then the 4 pots can't say I noticed the difference with the 4 pots apart from the fact they didn't fade as badly but unless your tracking the car your not going to notice the difference, good pads and bigger disks should see you right.
The brembos would be a step up
