Howdy, names mick, some of you know me from other sites, the rest of you don't lol,
Anyways I just picked up a 99 b4 legacy so said I'd get on here,

I also have a storage problem with it,
The brake lights in the bootlid and spoiler don't work, the taillights do and every other light does just when the brake is applied only the lights on either side/ 1/4 panel edge brighten,
I've put all new bulbs in today too but still not happening for me, anyone any clues before I go tracing wires?? Like is the brake lights for the bootlid on a separate fuse or something retaded like that??

some suffer corrosion but more so the wagon.

I think wire trace be first step if other obvious things have been checked.

Welcome along mick  check and see is there power going to them would be a a start and go from there

thats for the welcome,

was going to check the power today but it was pissin most of the day then i just wasn arsed when it had stopped, will get to it tomorrow though. see whats happening where, the lights a small dent on near the rear, slight leak in the boot (light seal more than likely) and a broken clip on the centre console are the only problems with it so nothing to stop her going like a dream :D :subaru:

Welcome to the club :subaru:

For the lights problem on your boot, follow the wire that follows driver's side boot arm, behind the plastic cover, and you'll follow it to a block connector. the wires leading into the block connector are more than likely broken from the constant opening and closing of the boot, common enough fault, happened on my own yoke
