Hello every one.... Gar here,

just purchased a project car, a 1994 WRX STI Version 1.

I owned a 1997 2 door STI few years ago and it was prob one of the best cars i owned, so here i am with another one..slightly older mind you :) hope to get advise over the comming weeks :subaru:

no way, i was only talking to him on the fone and he told me it was runing perfect.
and its his brothers and he was selling it for him as he was abroad.
did you know it was knocking when get it.
 
yeah we got the same story lol the bloke seemed genuine tho (dont they all when tryin to sell u a motor lol) it ran grand till i got it home.. brought it to the lads out at autoworx who said straight away that bottom end was gone and new engine needed. thankfully the knockin was not that bad plus i had plans to change the engine anyway lol not so soon tho ha i have sourced an sti engine from U.K and andy in tunning factory said he will fit it... :icon_jook:
 
thanks every one for the warm welcome... il keep yous updated with the project.. strongly considering the 2.5 conversion but gotta get ass into gear in terms of the green stuff first :hammerhead:
