AFAIK the reason for the hatchback impreza was to appeal to the european market and as an added bonus it would be a more compact car for the WRC...so they've pulled out of WRC and added a diesel version -without the traditional saloon impreza turbo-be it WRX or STI on the forecourts what precisely do they intend to sell???

Even looking at the saloon available in the states, if they brought that over here in a wrx or sti i wouldn't buy iy and doubt any real car enthusiast would, its not nearly as aggressive as, dare i say it, the new EVO! I know i should be shot but its true
